Computerized Cognitive Therapy

In addition to controlling the movement of various body parts, the brain also controls the cognition or the thinking process.

Many patients with neurological disorders such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injury also suffer cognitive problems in addition to physical disability.

Elderly patients often have significant memory problems and can have diseases such as dementia, Alzheimer’s disease.

Children with cerebral palsy, dyslexia, autism also suffer from cognitive problems.

Many physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs offer “exercises for the body” only but no “exercises for the brain”.

A4 Clinics is proud to be the first center in Central India to offer computerized cognitive therapy called

SMART BRAIN program.

In this program, first we perform a complete computerized cognitive screening of the patient. Based on the results of the screening, various therapeutic modules are practiced by the patient. Some examples include: memory for words, attention, visual field, spatial numbers search, topological memory.

This is a program of advanced computerized cognitive rehabilitation – another first in India and central MP.
This program is imported from Germany and is developed by neurocognitive experts and therapists.
Many neurological and psychiatric disorders are associated with a loss of or decline of cognitive functions such as attention, alertness, memory, logical reasoning etc. Smart Brain program includes computer-based screening modules to detect these deficits and recommend appropriate therapy based on the findings. The program also includes detailed quantitative progress reports so that the patients and family members can keep track of the progress.

This program is useful in conditions such as

The program consists of
(A) Screening Module – this takes approximately 2 hours and is performed at A4 Clinics under clinical supervision.
(B) Therapy Modules – recommended for approximately 1 hour a day for 5-6 days a week and is conducted at A4 Clinics under clinical supervision
